今天來翻譯個歌詞，Chord Overstreet的Hold On。也不是什麼新歌，只是今天有稍微仔細聽一下，覺得是滿有故事的一首歌，就決定翻譯看看了。
我翻譯一直都是挺「印象派」的，不是逐字翻，但還是會盡量貼近原意。所以以下翻譯還是僅供參考。

應該看得出來是滿悲傷的一首歌，主角的戀人在浴室裡自殺了，主角只能絕望地活在過往的夢魘中，呼喚著戀人別離開他。
在2017年受《時人》(People)雜誌採訪時，作詞的Chord澄清了這首歌不是真實事件，而是在他一段已經結束的戀情中擷取的靈感。
「我經歷過一段苦戀 - 有激情，也有爭吵。我覺得很多人都有類似的經驗，而我想在這首歌裡傳達的是，即使一段戀情已經結束了，你在其中付出的無條件的愛，還是會在你心裡留下甩不開的陰影。」
真的是很好聽、很有畫面感的一首歌！
