Objects disappear behind the front row, a larger model won’t fit on the shelf, or the lighting creates a bright reflection across the glass. A little planning can help you address these details early. Start with three things: ▪️ Measure your collection first Include bases, boxes and acrylic covers when deciding cabinet depth. Check that there’s enough room to open the doors and walk past comfortably. ▪️ Plan shelf spacing around your objects Different pieces need different heights. Place your favourites where you can enjoy them from your usual viewing position, and use adjustable shelves to make room for future additions. ▪️ Test the lighting from where you’ll actually look Reflections can change when you move from standing in front of the cabinet to sitting on the sofa. Test light positions before installation, and plan access to wiring and LED drivers for future maintenance. Thoughtful planning gives the things you love a place in everyday life.
