#英文 therefore 用法

各位好，
我想請教therefore的用法
我查到的大多是作為副詞用
(以前學也都當副詞，同thus一樣)
但最近仔細去回顧笛卡兒的名言
我思故我在，發現有三種類型
①I think therefore i am
②I think, therefore i am
③I think；therefore i am
若以副詞的用法來看③應該才是正確的文法
但我上網去查發現有些人說therefore 可作連接詞用(？)
若therefore真的可以當連接詞的話，那它與so的差異又為何？
