托福寫作可以靠模板嗎?

最近又被問到這一題，
如果你開始準備托福，
一定聽過各種寫作模板，
你或許會發現，模板也都很相似呢~
於是選一個起來用，
但使用後效果如何呢?
許多親身嘗試的同學很驚訝，
因為結果「幫助不大」。
弱底同學考出來還是20分左右，
程度好的還在25分徘徊，
多戰同學得分也沒什麼進步!
練寫作往往讓你們最頭痛，
也最希望得到效果!
癥結點在於，
好模板能給你寫作的「大方向」，
但只有掌握這個基本盤，
當然不足以獲得考官青睞。
有好模板後還要加上4個要素，
才能練出高分核心能力。

1️⃣寫出吸睛的開場白
請觀察以下開頭的模板句:
When it comes to…, most people believe that…, but other people regard…as…
模板句雖然能依題目套用，
但對考官來說這種「複製貼上」無助於分數。
【首段的目的，在於引起讀者興趣】
請讀我的範例:
In modern society, we use the Internet on a daily basis. People even joke about taking a smartphone with them to stay online even if they were to live on a remote, no-man's island. For nations, it is still the government's duty to pay attention to building basic infrastructure, including bridges and roads. However…
✈️首段點出題目重要性、趣味性，
連結讀者經驗，才會是加分的寫作方向!
2️⃣ 時間&段落安排
獨立寫作一定要寫五段嗎?
在時限下寫出內容多元的四段，
一定比行文邏輯相同的五段高分；

要把時間放對地方囉!
3️⃣舉例差異化
延續上面，如何寫出豐富的說明，
做出段落差異?
大家常舉個人化的例子，
如Take myself, my friend, my country... as an example.
但只有一個套路，
讀來很單調說服力也低。
【改舉「廣泛型」例子試試】
請舉出大眾都能想像，或有聽過的事件，如以下：
Imagine if a flood hits a village, and people do not have Wi-Fi to report the emergency to the government; as a result, more people would suffer.
If another mass shooting occurs, locals would also need this free communication tool to warn their neighbors and seek help to prevent further damage.
✈️改變舉例方向，讓句型更多元
內容也更有說服力，獲得考官親賴。
4️⃣ Paraphrase 同一概念換句話說
題目providing Internet access at no cost，
在文章中可改寫為
· governments should help provide the essential tool
· governments should make it freely accessible
Internet access 改寫成 stay online等
注意這個細節，就能加分寫得精采!
