One important reason why I disagree is that financial wealth cannot fully reflect a person’s quality of life. Although money can provide comfort and financial security, it does not guarantee happiness, good health, or strong personal relationships. A person may earn a great deal of money while experiencing constant stress, loneliness, or poor physical health. Therefore, judging success only by income ignores many aspects that make life meaningful.
For example, some business executives receive extremely high salaries but struggle with long working hours, family conflict, and mental health problems despite their financial success.
Therefore, money alone is an incomplete measure of whether someone is truly successful.

For instance, an outstanding teacher may inspire hundreds of students throughout a career. Although this person may never become rich, the positive influence on society is undeniable.
Therefore, success should also be measured by a person’s contribution to others rather than simply by financial wealth.
