潛季來臨，想跟大家分享我去年在蘭嶼潛水遇到的事件
我在2025年10月7日在蘭嶼於「蘭底潛水」租借水肺裝備並參加潛水活動
潛水過程中，裝備出現異常，主用二級頭破損。當下向教練反應後，被告知可改用備用二級頭繼續潛水。然而在潛水結束上升過程中，洩壓閥功能異常，導致我無法正常排氣，最終被迫快速上升
上岸後出現身體不適，當日前往蘭嶼衛生所接受氧氣治療，經醫師評估為減壓症，並建議立即返台接受高壓氧治療。後續已於台灣完成高壓氧治療，目前身體已無明顯不適，但自從那次潛水後心裡一直怕怕的，沒有再下水肺過

I went diving with 「蘭底潛水」in Lanyu on Oct 7, 2025, renting equipment and joining a guided dive.
During the dive, there were clear equipment issues, including a damaged primary second stage.
After informing the instructor, I was told to continue the dive using the alternate second stage. However, during ascent near the end of the dive, the deflate botton malfunctioned, preventing proper air release and resulting in an uncontrolled rapid ascent.
After surfacing, I experienced physical discomfort and went to the local clinic, where I received oxygen therapy and was assessed as having decompression sickness.
I was advised to return to Taiwan immediately for hyperbaric oxygen treatment. I have since completed treatment and have no obvious symptoms now.
Since that incident, I’ve felt uneasy about diving and have not gone scuba diving again, which shows how much this experience affected me.
This experience raises concerns about equipment safety. Diving is a high-risk activity, and proper equipment maintenance is critical. Future divers are strongly advised to carefully check equipment and be aware of the shop’s maintenance condition.
