#請益 UCLA的ESLPE考試

大家好，小弟將於今年前往UCLA讀書，但因為托福考的不夠高，被通知需要參加English as a Second Language Placement Exam (ESLPE)考試，並會依照考試結果判斷是否需要於在學期間額外修英文寫作的課。學校官網對於ESLPE的考試有說明如下： You will have up to 2.5 hours (150 minutes) to write a well-organized, multi-paragraph, thesis-driven essay of at least 400 words. The essay will respond to a prompt that is based on your reading and understanding of a passage that is approximately 1000 words. The reading will be an expository or argumentative piece on a theme of general interest, not discipline-specific. 雖然大概知道是要寫一篇議論文，但還是不太清楚可以如何有效的準備，網路上也沒有找到對於這個考試內容深入的介紹，因此想請教是否有人有考過願意分享的呢，例如被考的是什麼樣的類型文章，或者會類似一些GRE的問題呢，希望考過的人可以分享一下，非常感謝！
