This position is open for new graduates, and it’s one of the few openings in Taipei
Job Description:
You’ll be working on GPU post-silicon debugging, figuring out why the GPU fails under certain conditions, such as software driver interactions with GPU hardware, and how the driver communicates with the GPU to make it function properly, and collaborate with other teams to identify and fix the root cause.
Interview Process:
In my interview, I was mainly tested on computer architecture and understanding how the CPU works, and a little bit of RTL and hardware basics.
Don’t worry if you don’t have much GPU experience; there will be training after you join. Of course, having some prior GPU knowledge is a plus.
Team Info:
The main team is based in the U.S., including the manager and most of the team members. The Taiwan team was just expanded this year, so it’s still small.
Since we have regular meetings with the U.S. team early in the morning, we usually get to leave work earlier too.
Right now, my manager has only received one senior-level resume, probably because people got scared off by the experience requirements. That’s why I’m posting this here to recruit more candidates.
We welcome applicants with Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or other related backgrounds!
