〔即時新聞／綜合報導〕台北市長柯文哲日前說，一個國家30歲的未婚女性佔30％，將造成國家不安定，還會有國安危機，此話一出，便掀起正反兩極看法，對此，柯文哲今天緩頰地說，這不是性別問題，而是社會福利問題。 柯文哲說，他曾在台大當主任，常遇到要動手術卻找不到親屬的情形，所以台灣應該思考目前約有30％未結婚，「那我們社會福利制度，對於未婚女性在老年時，到底準備好沒？」 柯文哲說，所謂的國安問題就是，這是將來會遇到的問題，但社會制度應該要在好多年前開始準備，「這應該是整個國家政策面該注意的問題。」 柯文哲強調，大部份手術都是由子女來簽，若是單身，以醫療體系來看，常會找不到親屬，所以家庭是很重要的社福單位，若有這麼多未結婚的性別，社會福利應該更早準備。 -- 柯文哲不是歧視未婚女性 更不是獵巫獵女巫 而是擔憂國家社會福利 像是老人津貼拖垮財政之類的 因此可見柯文哲是一位憂國憂民的首都市長 2015年以來 柯已在台北市特別為未婚女性增辦數種社會福利 才怪
