Enjoy後面的動詞一定要加ing嗎

如題，i enjoy playing basketball at school with my friend on thursday 這句話他說enjoy後面的動詞要加ing 所以只要enjoy後面的動詞一定是ing嗎？playing算是動名詞的一種嗎？ 謝謝

小補充 no 跟 avoid 也要加Ving喔～ no (禁止) 常見標語像是No crossing(禁止穿越) No smoking(禁止吸煙) avoid (避免) avoid+Ving就比較沒有常見的標語，但有例句 They all avoided mentioning that name. (他們都避免提到那個名字)
