今日我們的行動，始於當見到將以色列置於「值得學習的對象」時，期望能讓參與者以「這些科技與經濟成長背後，充斥以色列種族滅絕行徑」的一絲懷疑，了解這場講座中的內容。 在事後的留言中，見到不同的同學、見到我們行動的大家表示不同的意見。為此我們撰寫了此份聲明／回應／澄清，希望能開啟這樣的討論。 1.在此聲明／澄清／回應發表的同時，我們已隱藏了直播後的影片存檔，以及行動後的貼文。 在行動過後，我們發傳單向在場的參與者表達我們為何有此行動時，主辦方的國務院向我們表達了「因講座時有說不可錄音、錄影，我們諮詢了法律顧問，若有需要我們將採取法律途徑」，為了保障社員學生權益，本社將本社將改發截圖。 2.有留言提及，闕志克博士在發表的文章中，多曾表達反對以色列種族滅絕行徑，支持巴勒斯坦人生命權的內容。 因此，社內進行了討論與查證，也向有參與講座的同學了解，發現講座發現講座確實並未有盲目宣揚錫安主義的論點。 支持巴勒斯坦解放、反對錫安主義，是我們的共同志業。但我們也必須承認，本次行動未能準確評估講者立場，是本社的一大疏失。貿然行動促成的誤解，我們將會在未來的每次行動中，時刻警惕。 需要澄清，本次事件並不影響我們支持巴勒斯坦運動的解放，未來仍會持續參與相關運動，但在行動前的查證上會更加注意。 謝謝參與討論、表達意見的大家。 Our action today began from a concern: when Israel is presented as a “model worth learning from,” we hoped to encourage participants to approach the lecture with at least some awareness that behind Israel’s technological and economic growth lies its ongoing genocidal violence. After the action, we saw different comments and opinions from students and others who witnessed what happened. For this reason, we have written this statement / response / clarification in the hope of opening up further discussion. 1. At the time of publishing this statement / clarification / response, we have hidden the archived livestream video and the post made after the action. After the action, when we were distributing leaflets to explain to participants why we had taken this action, the organizer, the Department of Diplomacy, told us: “Since it was stated during the lecture that recording, filming, and photography were not allowed, we have consulted our legal advisor, and if necessary, we will take legal action.” In order to protect the rights and interests of our student members, our club will instead release screenshots. 2. Some comments mentioned that Dr. Chih-Chieh Chueh has, in his published writings, repeatedly expressed opposition to Israel’s genocidal actions and support for Palestinians’ right to life. Therefore, our club held an internal discussion and conducted further verification. We also asked students who attended the lecture about what was said. We found that the lecture did not, in fact, blindly promote Zionist arguments. Supporting Palestinian liberation and opposing Zionism are causes we share. However, we must also acknowledge that our failure to accurately assess the speaker’s position before taking action was a major mistake on the part of our club. We will remain vigilant about the misunderstandings caused by acting too hastily, and we will take this lesson seriously in all future actions. We also need to clarify that this incident does not change our support for the Palestinian liberation movement. We will continue to participate in related movements in the future, but we will be more careful in our fact-checking before taking action.
