哈囉各位，小弟原本希望利用CMU offer deferred 到spring 27的這段時間去當兵，不過礙於本人太晚體檢，現在擔心如果去當兵4個月來不及趕上spring 27入學，想再主動用"Mandatary military service"申請defer到fall 27. 有鑒於CMU MS ECE handbook上寫"ECE generally does not allow admission deferrals because admission decisions are based on the current applicant pool. Therefore, students are admitted into the program for a particular semester only. If a student wishes to attend in a future semester, the student must reapply to the ECE program." 及寫email去問ECE graduate admission office assistant director後得到無情的模板"please reapply"，想問問看各位大大有沒有成功利用"Mandatary military service" as "Exceptional circumstances"的論述或類似經驗去跟ECE graduate admission office 申訴成功的經驗。 本人目前會試著去跟dean及其它一些相關人士申訴，如果有什麼其他方法也歡迎提出討論。 謝謝!
